Intentional, Thoughtful Care

In many psychiatric practices, patients are rushed through 10-15 minute follow-up “medication check” appointments, leaving little time for meaningful discussion, proper assessment, or a true understanding of their needs.

I believe you deserve better.

You're Not Just Another Appointment—Your Time Matters

I know how frustrating it can be to feel rushed through appointments, leaving with unanswered questions or feeling like your concerns weren’t fully heard.

Many patients come to me after experiencing short, impersonal visits that don’t give them the time they need to discuss their mental health.

At Kathryn Jenkins Psychiatry, LLC, I do things differently.

I take the time to truly listen, understand your concerns, and work with you to create a treatment plan that feels right for you. Studies show that when patients feel heard and supported, they experience better outcomes and greater confidence in their care. That’s why I offer unrushed, patient-centered appointments where you have the space to talk, ask questions, and feel empowered in your mental health journey.

Quality Care, Guaranteed

To ensure quality care, my initial appointments are scheduled for 60-75 minutes, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of your mental health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Follow-up appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, providing ample time for thoughtful conversation, medication management, and any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.

This intentional approach leads to better patient outcomes. By allowing time for deeper discussions, early identification of potential concerns, and more precise medication management, I can provide more effective, individualized care. Patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their treatment, which ultimately leads to greater progress and long-term well-being.
